Kapa Haka

In  kapa haka we went to trixies and St Andrews school and peformed in front of them and after we did the performance. We got to hug the people we knew and it was busy day.

Grass heads

Room7 made Grass heads. We hade to get a stocking and we put seeds in there and we put soil in too.

We tidied it up and decorated. You should see them. They are cool. 

Long jump

This is a video about me doing long jump. We did it in the sandpit. I kept making holes in the sandpit and kept getting

buried in there. 
My goal is to keep my legs together.

Dairy farm visit

At the dairy farm we had lunch and shared lunch but in the milking shed we got to put our  fingers in the tube. It was sucking my finger off. When it was lunch time I got to sit with Toby, Leah,Christian.

I was hungry. It was fun when we got to do the gumboot throw. Room7 was waiting. Finally it was our turn. We were waiting for ever. When we got inside the milk room we saw the vat and tasted milk. It was cold. The milk got poured in the cup and after that we had a another gumboot throw and then we saw some one  with on a tractor and looked at it for awhile. Then it was home time.

Mathethon

This is me when I did the mathethon.We needed to get points on  and put them a post-it notes. It was hard to challenge eno. Would you want to verse him?

Calandar art work

We made calandar art work. It was fun when we did all of the things.
We mixed the paint into dark pink, light pink.

We made birds. The glue was sticky. It was hard. 

My holiday

In my holiday me and my mum and dad went to rainbows end. We had to pay first before we got inside.
We wanted to go on the scary rides.They were cool! It was fun on the rollercoaster! We got candyfloss after one ride. It was yummy. We went on the fear fall. Some bits went off my candyflosst and when we went down fast all my candyfloss  flew away. We went to the log ride. That was really fun but when I went down the slide I got wet.

Reading

Production

This is a post about the production. It was the first night show last night. I was excited. There were lots of parents. I felt scared when I looked at the parents. The light was bright.

Wow! That looks scary to go down I would not go in  I would be too scared.
I don't want to go in there the balls looks like rocks and the ladder is big but the stairs are scary too.

There were 9 turtles in the red sky  and a man jumped on a green turtle and he went to green land. Everything was green except the pond it was yellow and the pool is too.
It had food that was purple. The fish is blue and the grass is red the dogs are orange the tattle took him.

My flying adventure

I was on a lilly pad  I felt like  flying  in the sky. The sky is dark  and when I was in the sky I saw a person drinking a cup of    water and the detective looked at the lilly pad  it was wet it was slimey  the frog went a way. To a home to watch TV and chickens were flying too.

Exploring Sound

This term our topic is exploring sound.
What  I know about sound is  that it sound comes in some peoples ears.

Anzac day

On wednesday the 25th of April it was anzac day.

• poppy day is the friday before anzac day.
• anzac day is on the 25th of april.

Cave Assessment

This is my caves assessment about what I know about caves and what I need to work on.

Anzac biscuits

  On the 24th of April I made ANZAC biscuits. We put 1cup rolled oats and 1cup plain flour and 1cup sugar in a bowl.
We addedd 1 cup of coconut and 125 g butter and 2 tbsp golden syrup andn2 tbsp water and 1 tsp baking soda.

We enjoyed eating the ANZAC buscuits.

                                                                                                                                                    

Term 1 reflection

This term I have enjoyed maths because it makes you learn, like the ways to make 100 and 10.
I have also enjoyed writing because it makes you write fast.
I  am proud of helping people  because I am a kind to people.

Next term my goals are to:

Waitomo caves poster

I made a caves poster and we were supposed to do things that you aren't allowed to do in the caves. I wrote a clear message about not touching the stalactites and stalagmites. Next time I will draw carefully.
We had fun and we had to show it in front of other classes.

Maori phrase Video

                                              This is a video about the Maori phrase of the week and we did it by the library. I did well with speaking loud. Next time I will learn to use the camera and take a video of someone else.

Crystal flower experiment

We did an experiment about crystal flowers and it was fun. In the container is a liquid. It is salty water.

I think that the paper towel will soak up the liquid and then it will get hard.

Pop art

I like pop art because it is fun. It takes a lot of smudging. My favourite part was colouring in myself and we hung it up. We had fun.

Caves

My favourite part of the waitomo caves is going in the caves and seeing glow worms light. It looks bright. It was fun in the caves but the we went in a cave and It was fun.

Tabloids was fun because we did the parachute game. I always love the water games.

We are learning to swim on our backs and our tummies.

My holiday

I went to my dads house and my dad bought me a Psp and some games and he gave me a kitten. We called it gingy. We went to camp at Dicky Flats. W put the tents up and the gazebo and we went to go in a cave and my dad bought me a row boat and my cousin had one too and we shared the oars. It was a fun holiday!
